Foot Steps Podiatry has aimed to find the best ways to improve your lower limb function & health. FMT is a specialised technique that use mobilisation & manipulation to help get you back to our active self.

Foot Mobilisation Therapy is a manual therapy that improves the alignment & function of the foot through gentle mobilsation combined with exercises.

FMT is a manual therapy, that targets joints in the foot & ankle that may be poorly aligned or dysfunctional which may be the underlying cause of foot, ankle & leg pain. It uses your own body’s natural repair process to reduce pain and improve foot posture.

FMT consists of a series of short mobilisation sessions and take home exercises to maintain your results.

  • Allows the body to naturally repair itself through mobilising restricted joints to promote joint fluid production.
  • Returns bones and joints to their optimal position which allows chronic musculoskeletal injuries to heal.
  • Improves joint integrity, foot posture and muscle strength
  • Improves foot and ankle mobilisation
  • Improves Postural stability
