Plantar Foot Pain

Plantar foot pain is a common condition that can cause heel pain and other symptoms.

The plantar fascia is a thick band of tissue that runs along the bottom of your foot from your heel to your toes. This tissue helps support your arch and gives your foot its shape. If the plantar fascia becomes stretched or torn, it can cause pain in your heel or arch.

Other plantar heel pain includes nerve entrapments, severs disease, heel spur or bursitis.
